TARANIS Watch Company is a new microbrand based in the United Kingdom.

Our horological journey first began in 2021.

One of our co-founders purchased off the shelf watch components to build bespoke and unique timepieces for himself to wear and use. It all began from a genuine interest in watches and the desire to create something special.


After regularly posting images of the watches online, we started to attract a small online audience as others became interested in having their own customised timepiece. It was almost by accident that we started retailing watches in 2022.


By the end of 2022, the business had its own website called CS WRISTSHOP, which had a variety of stocked watches and an option to pre-order custom watches through a design consultation service. Fast forward to 2024, 450+ customised watches had been sold to customers all over the world.


This rare experience gave us a meaningful understanding of watch design philosophy, the assembly process and the quality expectations of the end user.


Eventually, we made the decision to rebrand and go down a different path for the next chapter of our journey. But TARANIS will retain a lot the core values that we started with.

Most importantly, we want to continue retailing watches that have a high level of quality and usability at an attainable price point.
